Every Bimba rider must be at least 18, ride one person per vehicle and follow the permitted area, parking rules and current Rider Agreement shown in the app.

Only eligible adults aged 18 or older may operate a Bimba. The account holder may start rides for up to two additional eligible adults through the available Group Ride flow, but every e-bike or e-scooter remains single-rider. Children and passengers are not allowed on the same vehicle.
Stay on the active main-road corridor from north Santa Teresa near Nami to south Mal País, using the app map for the exact boundary. Side roads toward the beach or mountains are outside the permitted corridor. The vehicle can slow and stop after leaving it.
Follow applicable Costa Rican traffic rules, signs and signals. Do not ride while impaired, race, perform stunts, use a phone or headphones while moving, or tamper with the vehicle. Keep both hands ready and adjust speed below the vehicle’s maximum of 25 km/h whenever traffic, road surface, weather or visibility requires it.
Finish only in an approved parking area shown for the trip. A physical dock is not required at every approved location. Park upright without blocking a road, path, entrance or driveway, then wait for the app’s end confirmation.
