Santa Teresa rain can quickly turn dust into mud, hide potholes, create standing water and reduce tire grip, braking performance and visibility. Loose sand and painted or smooth surfaces can also become more slippery when wet.
Reduce speed smoothly, avoid abrupt steering or braking and move out of traffic when it is safe. Use the app to locate the nearest approved parking area you can reach without taking additional risk, park correctly and confirm the ride has ended.
Do not enter flooded sections or deep standing water. Water can hide holes, debris and road edges and may damage electrical components. Never assume another vehicle crossing proves that the route is safe for an e-bike or e-scooter.
