Bimba E-Bike and E-Scooter Safety Tips

Before every ride

Take one minute to check the vehicle while it is stationary.

1. Test both brakes and make sure the levers respond normally.
2. Look at the tires, wheels, frame, lights and controls for damage or looseness.
3. Adjust the e-bike saddle or establish a stable stance on the e-scooter.
4. Secure small belongings and never hang a bag where it can affect steering.
5. Check the app map, battery and current weather before unlocking.

Ride for Santa Teresa’s real conditions

The main road can change quickly between dry dust, loose sand, potholes, mud, standing water, pedestrians, dogs, motorcycles, ATVs and cars. Start slowly, scan farther ahead than usual and leave more stopping space when grip or visibility is reduced.

Keep your attention on the road

Keep both hands available for steering and braking. Do not use a phone, headphones or another distracting device while moving. Never ride after drinking alcohol or using drugs or medication that affects alertness, balance or judgment.

Know when not to ride

Do not begin during heavy rain, storms, flooding, poor visibility or any condition outside your experience. A taxi or other suitable vehicle is the better choice for luggage, passengers, steep side roads, severe weather or travel outside Bimba’s active corridor.

Finish without creating a new hazard

Use an approved parking area shown in the app. Leave the vehicle upright and keep roads, driveways, entrances and pedestrian access clear. Wait for the app to confirm the ride has ended before walking away.
